Fayetteville attorney J. Scott Flowers is the supervising partner for Litigation with Hutchens Law Firm practicing in the areas of construction, land use, housing, and business law and litigation. An AV-Rated Attorney, Mr. Flowers regularly represents general contractors, property management companies, landowners, business professionals, and real estate agents before state and federal courts throughout North Carolina, as well as licensing boards and government agencies.
Scott's first job with a law firm was when he was just 20 years old, and he’s never looked back. He was born in Fayetteville and raised in rural Duplin County. Scott’s wife, Robin, is a school teacher. They have three daughters and are active members of Haymount United Methodist Church.
Scott sees his upbringing here in North Carolina as a valuable asset for his clients. He is just as comfortable talking to a truck driver as he is with a heart surgeon. His philosophy for working with clients always starts with listening. “If a client is talking to an attorney, it’s probably a stressful time for them. And they need to know that you are listening and that you are on their side,” he says.
He joined our Firm in 2004.
