The Taylor Law Partners, LLP is a partnership of experienced trial attorneys who provide aggressive representation to clients at both the trial and appellate levels. The firm was founded in 1986 by W.H. Taylor and Michael H. Mashburn and was known as Mashburn & Taylor until November 2000, when Mr. Mashburn was elected to the position of Circuit Judge.

The firm's attorneys are licensed to practice in all state and federal courts, in civil, criminal and family law matters.

Hired Attorney Jason Lee Watson

Working with this attorney was a God send. Other attorneys wouldn't even give my case the time of the day. But Mr. Watson actually took the time to listen and even though it wasn't a big case, he wanted to help because he could tell that I was being taken advantage of by worker's comp adjuster and the worker's comp attorney. This is a lil late but thank you Jason for everything.

If you need BEST - Hire Scott E. Smith. He is a Skilled, Classy Warrior. He was THE only recommendation by my prominent attorney friend. I expected my divorce to be completed with a simple mediation. After over 20 years of marriage, I trusted my ex-husband to be fair. It was his multiple lives that was the cause of my asking for a divorce. I wrong and unprepared. For years, my Ex had strategized. He fought with (3) attorneys, a CPA girlfriend and multiple advisors. Scott immediately recognized what I was up against and skillfully guided me through a successful long legal case. If you need an ear to cry on - hire a therapist. Scott will be busy on the battlefield for you.

Hired Attorney Scott E. Smith

Highly recommended. I interviewed several attorneys before going with Scott and was very pleased I did. I should have known to go with him when I kept getting recommendations that he was the best. He was very well prepared and very knowledgeable about my case and the law. He made the entire process easier even though it was very stressful.

I heard of a negative feedback being left for Scott and felt compelled to respond to that. I have used Scott on 4 separate matters over the past 18 years and have found him to be excellent in each and every one of those matters. Additionally, Scott is the attorney I recommend to anyone asking for an attorney, even if outside the area of family law, and have gotten nothing but praise for his work. Scott is compassionate, caring and devoted to his clients.

I found Scott's services to be outstanding. I do not believe, based on my experience and the recommendations I received before I hired Scott, that the negative ratings are fair nor accurate. It would appear this is a disappointed client that went against Scott, certainly not one of his own clients. I STRONGLY recommend Scott for any legal services but particularly for family law issues.
