I highly encourage anyone considering hiring Ms. Merryman to do thorough research first. I hired Ms. Merryman based on my attorney's recommendation, despite reading concerning reviews. Trusting my counsel, I hoped she would protect and represent my child's interests effectively. Unfortunately, our experience with Ms. Merryman was not positive. The reviews I read turned out to be accurate, as our experience mirrored the majority of the comments. She was extremely unprofessional, displayed significant biases, and had limited interactions with my child. Additionally, her recommendations were contradictory to the conversations I had with my child and did not align with the information provided by my child's therapist. Fortunately, the case was ruled in our favor, but the family court process was brutally traumatizing, unfair, and devastating. Working with Ms. Merryman added additional distress and anxiety.

This lawyer is pathetic. She should have went to college for something else. She has no business being a lawyer especially an attorney ad litem. She doesn’t care about your child, she doesn’t care about the facts of her cases, pathetic excuses after excuses. Run as fast as you can if you can away from this pathetic woman

Buffy is for mothers and does not actually care about where the kids go. She does not actually look into things that is presented. Even if it false evidence and petty evidence such as fake allegation as to what childern have said or social media. Even when therapist have proven the evidence not true. Of course the other parent lied and it wasn't even dismissed. Even with the mother producing so much false evidence it was never looked into. So if you want an amazing attorney that will get you kids but you only want to do it for support and not take care of the kids, well this is your attorney. Just know in the end there will be consequences for the action.

Be aware with child services with this women. Almost tried to put a child with a criminal lucky another attorney won the case and did not allowed that to happened. Her investigation was extremely poor did not care about a childs wellbeing and SAFEST ENVIRONMENT!! Unbel
