Over 30 years of experience in civil litigation, 25 years specializing in employment law and litigation. Mr. Morgan got his start on the management-side, advising employers regarding policy implementation, discipline and termination decisions, and defending them in lawsuits. In 1992, Mr. Morgan met and joined Don Gasiorek, Dave Kotzian, Pat McCauley and Paul Hines at a larger, multi-practice firm and expanded his practice to include representing executive-level employees with employment contracts and equity interests, employees with disability discrimination and sexual harassment claims, and compensation disputes. By 2007, when he co-founded the GMGMK firm, Mr. Morgan was regarded as one of the finest Plaintiff-side employment litigators in Michigan. Because he continues to counsel and advise several Detroit-area employers in their day-to-day workforce management issues, and serve as their defense counsel, Mr. Morgan is frequently hired to conduct independent investigations and to serve as a neutral mediator or arbitrator. Mr. Morgan was elected to serve on the Novi Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors in November 2010, and became Chairman of the Board in December 2014. Mr. Morgan was elected to serve on the State Bar of Michigan, Labor & Employment Law Section Council, November 2012 to present. In November 2013, Mr. Morgan was inducted as a Fellow in the prestigious College of Labor & Employment Lawyers.
