Shannon E. Parvey grew up in Hibbing, Minnesota. She moved to Grand Forks in 2001, where she attended the University of North Dakota. In 2005, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with emphases in Clinical Science and Educational Psychology, and a Minor in English. Shannon received her law degree, with distinction, from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2009. Shannon spent eight years as an associate attorney with a Fargo firm, practicing exclusively in the area of family law, before opening Parvey, Larson, and McLean, PLLC with two partners in 2018. Shannon is licensed to practice law in North Dakota and Minnesota. She is a member of the North Dakota and Minnesota State Bar Associations, Cass and Clay County Bar Associations, and serves as Treasurer for the North Dakota Collaborative Divorce Group. Shannon is a trained Mediator, Parenting Investigator, and Guardian ad Litem. She is also a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, helping clients gather and analyze financial data. Shannon and her husband, Eric, live in Mapleton with their three children. Shannon enjoys chasing the kids around, watching sports, and traveling.
