If you read the law firm’s ethics that is found on Kublan & Austin PLC website is entirely true. Before I leave my case in the hands of Mr. Kublan; I had gone to consult three more lawyers. At my first visit I knew that my case was in good hands. I believe that the eyes are the lamps of the soul, in Mr. Kublan’s eyes I could see honesty, integrity, loyalty, professionalism, enthusiasm, acknowledge etc. The law firm Kublan & Austin fulfilled everything that was promised.
I had a consult with Mr.Kublan during which he gave me information that gave me very high hope, in an area that was critical in my decision whether or not to even hire a lawyer. Upon checking, I concluded that information I was given was false. When I emailed him, with links, to the law, asking him to clarify what he gave me, he simply ignored it. After that, I think it was obvious I didn't hire him. Also, the contract they sent me obligated me to refill a retainer monthly, something I was not comfortable with. The whole communication was not personal, I felt like a cow to be milked.
We retained Andrei at a cost of $450 hour and got sub-par legal counsel. He pawned us off to associates several times due to his vacations and ultimately pressured us to settle for a much higher amount than we wanted. Also, the other side did not respect him as a lawyer and slipped in things into the final document that he did not catch. Terrible, costly experience.
