Amin Ganjalizadeh, the son of Iranian immigrants arriving in the U.S. shortly after the 1979 revolution, was born in Washington DC and raised in Northern Virginia. Amin earned his BA in political science, with a minor in Spanish, at The Catholic University of America, and went on to earn his JD at New England Law|Boston.
Amin first gained his immigration experience working at Rubin Pomerleau, PC in downtown Boston, the firm that is credited for the successful outcome in Pereira v. Sessions, 585 U.S. ___ (2018). In 2015, Amin returned to the DC area where he began as a senior associate at Leyruta, PLLC and was promoted to supervising attorney and operations manager shortly thereafter, responsible for successful outcomes in numerous complex and challenging cases.
