I hired Tad Hoover to represent my wife I a wrongful arrest on a violation of a protection order with a neighbor at a restaurant in North Canton. I explained everything to Tad on the phone and he told we had nothing to worry about it was all trash and that he would go to trial and have my wife found not guilty. I also had to hire him to represent me on a couple of months later with the same neighbor when she was trying to get a protection order on me. Tad & Christian Talcott another lawyer in Hoovers Firm worked very hard for us in both cases and couldn’t ask for them to represent us any better. They had us come in before both trials and sit down with them for hours both times and go over all the evidence and to make sure we were all on the same page. Both trials went in our favor as Tad & Christian said they would. They had my wife’s case sealed for us also since it was in a criminal court and mine was in a Civil Court. Eli was an amazing attorney. He fought for me to get the best outcome/plea possible for my case, he was extremely determined and professional throughout the whole process. I walked into court thinking best case scenario Id have a 12 month license suspension reduced to 6 months and have to do a Driver Intervention Program. Eli Heller of Hoover Kacyon got my license reinstated that day, no jail, no community service, no DIP program. Just a $200 fine and $280 in court costs. I'm still shocked. I've never had more confidence in an attorney
I had a great experience with my attorney. He explained procedures and gave good explanation of how or why I would likely win my case. Things played out as expected and I would highly recommend the attorney. This may be more specific to the agency but I do not think the cost appropriate, however. Or at least it being on a ‘retainer’ basis is what i question. I feel this is appropriate when there will be a lot of back and forth with the client or when extra time and resources will be needed. My case did not require a lot of work. I am thankful for that in terms of it resolving quickly. But, objectively, I don’t feel all cases should be retainer based with the same flat cost. In my base, it equates to probably 600-$800 an hour. I don’t want to make this about the cost. Legal representation is expensive. I’m just not sure about the fee structure, in general. Thank you.
I agree with the other review. Ms. Six was very deceiving and I have all the emails with her and her paralegal who told me one thing then did something else without my approval or knowledge. They kept almost $1,000 of my retainer fee for work I did not authorize. I am working to file a grievance with the Ohio Supreme Court Office of Disciplinary Counsel. I have all the emails, phone conversations, text messages of their violations. Steer clear of this law firm and Attorney. She also threatened me as well.
Horribly overpriced for the bare minimum. Prepare to spend thousands just to send an email once in awhile or even call the office. Oh and if you have to switch attorneys like I did, they will say they’re going to send your records over, and then completely ignore the requests from your attorney and follow up by lying and saying they sent it. I also believe they have rigged google reviews because I can’t give them the one star they deserve.
I had the displeasure of meeting Miss Six retaining her firm. I severed ties with them almost immediately but was billed $270.50 for trivial attorney fees and another $105 to use my credit card to put the retainer down. While I have issue with the fees I have more of an issue with the fact I called the office for nine days to speak to Miss Six or someone in charge and was given the runaround, diverted to Voicemail or promised I would be receiving a return call that ne
