Although Charles is compassionate and professional he aggressively helps injured people and their families receive compensation for their injuries. When representing clients in family law cases Charles emphasizes the importance of working to resolve cases without destroying important relationships. When children are involved he works hard to make sure that children does not have to choose sides. However, when a case cannot be resolved without a trial he aggressively represents his clients. As a bankruptcy attorney he works to make sure his clients get a fresh start.

In criminal cases Charles provides a high level of personal attention to each client. He works hard to ensure that his clients' constitutional rights are protected. He dedicates time and effort to getting the best results for his clients.

I was in juvenile court fighting for years for custody of my daughter and when I dropped the 2 different lawyers I had for 3 years prior to Tyler within the first year of hiring Tyler I was granted full custody of my daughter by this broken system that does not favor MEN, especially BLACK MEN! Tyler was so professional but so swift and stern with his facts and arguments that I could no longer be denied full custody! So I turned around 2 years later and hired him to represent me in my divorce proceedings! Great guy/lawyer!!

This is my second time using Mr. Tyler. Roughly 12 years ago he guided me through my divorce. To my surprise he remembered me and I'd like to say that aside from his professionalism he really makws a point to bond with his clients.

Working with Attorney Tyler has been a blessing. He did an outstanding job with my divorce case and I ended up keeping everything that I wanted. He was persisted and did not give in to my ex's lawyer. He fought for me and was respectful through the entire process. I was represented by Charles Tyler for CPO and criminal court. I didn't pay for it because he was provided through Portage county victim program. He said he would help me with my divorce. Said he would file paperwork I filled out to begin the process. He didn't respond to me after asking when he was going to file. I didn't hear from him for almost 2 years!! I called several times with no response. Eventually responded with a text saying to call him on a certain day. I did..no answer..again no response. Called him again! And finally got to talk to him briefly. He had stated that he was no longer in the program and assumed that they would inform me that he was no longer a part of the program. He again stated that he would help me with my divorce free of charge and set up an appointment that following week to discuss things. He never responded. Even though did not pay him however I feel like there should have been some level of integrity and professionality to inform me himself.

I am disappointed with Charles Tyler service. He didn't communicate with me and had my case dismissed with out telling me. He wasn't reliable, trustworthy.
