john is knowledgeable and very client oriented service provider. He open living trust for us in 2006 and still his document is proven well structured. He also provide support as needed for his created documents. I happy with his firm and service and refers to my friends frequently. I give him ***** five star.
Attorney John Steffan did a living trust for me and my family in 2014. Even though he is retired. there always be someone to help his former client. Recently I called the number 703-691-4810, the telephone number was disconnected. does anyone knows the status?
I'm usually don't leave reviews, but our experience with Steffan & Associates was so egregious, I would be remiss if I didn't share my experience with others so that they may choose another estate planner. Our mother used this service for her estate. Now that she has passed my siblings and I have called 8 times and emailed with no response. We finally got through to and an admin appt for 9am the following week. When we called in for said appointment, they picked up the phone and hung up on us 3 times. When he finally got around to calling us back, he was curt, condescending and abrasive. When I attempted to ask a relevant question during his soliloquy, he cut me off and told me he didn't need any of the information I was telling him and continued on. It was very clear that he wasn't interested in our questions. With the level of service being consistently haphazard, it calls into question the quality of the estate plan itself. Never again. Stay away!
