My wife and I had been through several attorneys over 10 years. None exhibited the energy, professionalism, communication skills, and Barracuda-like advocacy that Kate did--she was terrific--a pleasure to deal with in a horrible situation. We'd give her a 10 out of 10 on the trust scale. Knowledgeable of the law, great communicator, willing to use EMail and attachments (some attorneys can't even Google), totally ethical--just superb. If you're not ethical, don't waster her time (or yours).
Would not recommend. I signed a retainer with this law firm in 2014 and I feel this firm cares more about money / profit than their client’s best interests. My new lawyer required a retainer of only 1/3rd of what Reese demanded and settled the case for less than half of what Reese Law charged me with far superior service. In the end, the opponent lawyer lost all her abilities to “bully” me and I reached an agreement that was much better for me than what Reese Law could have ever produced.
Forget anything you might have heard about Kate Reese being a savvy pit bull attorney. I spent close to $60K and I was constantly having to prompt her legal team with information they had already received and then would request it again. They were not strong client advocates and Kate was all about making sure she got paid before she’d even talk to me. Please note I always paid them on time and kept the agreed amount in the trust. I wish I never would have retained her as legal counsel.
I would not recommend Reece Law to anyone!!! This is boarderline malpractice. They charged be $40k and only got to the temporary hearing. The divorce isn't even finalized yet and had to fire them for their lack of production. They fold under pressure and I hired Kate, but she assigned Mario to my case instead. He is a very underwelming attorney. Beware!
