We had a great experience working with Mr. McClafferty. Mr. McClafferty got into every little detail of our case, and presented the matter in a truly professional way. We were appealing several violation notices that our HOA’s Architectural Committee sent us regarding our property. Mr. submitted a letter of appeal on our behalf to the Board. We won both cases.

highly over priced virginia knows how to make money off her clients she only cares about her money rather than her client's interest, very unprofessional and unethical behaviour run before you spend a dime to hire her we made the biggest mistake hiring her not happy
Her trust documents are written to protect the corporate trustee and not the client. Beneficiary language needs to be rewritten as it’s written incorrectly and she’s not willing to update it so easily. You need to read the beneficiary language a zillion times to understand that if your siblings die with no children then the money skips you and goes to your children. I’d request simplistic language and understand she wants to quickly sell you the template and move on as fast as possible.
As other reviewers have posted they take FOREVER to respond to emails! WEEKS! I was told TWO MONTHS ago to expect in one week some important documents to sign and two months later i can't get them to reply why i haven't received them. I also spent two weeks and numerous emails to receive a reply to the simple question, "Did he sign the document?". Simple yes or no questions taking literally WEEKS to respond to. Ridiculous.
I can give you a number of reasons to avoid Lawrence. Communication skills were terrible. He regularly did not communicate with us, return emails, follow up when he said he would or return phone calls. Throughout he seemed to show little interest in our case. He made a number of recommendations, but nearly every one cost us financially or strategically. He failed to argue a fundamental aspect of our case which was critical to us losing. He was recommended to us by a different attorney at his firm, but I cannot make the same recommendation.
