Karen Scarborough is a law firm with an office in Fairfax, VA. At this office location, there is 1 lawyer practicing criminal law, traffic violations, reckless driving and 17 other areas of law.
She handled my case and I regret it. Just before we went into court, she informed me that judges intimidated her. Nice to know right before we faced the judge. Then she questioned our witness until the judge reminded her of the time, adding he was not rushing her. She then stopped her examination and sat down. The judge ended up exceeding the recommendations of the prosecutor for my punishment. I could have defended myself better.
Karen Scarborough was extremely unprofessional. She was rude, condescending, and enjoyed screaming. I would strongly discourage anyone from using her services.
She was very rude during every meeting and phone call. She told me to do things in preparation for the case, then reprimanded me for doing them. She did things to make the judge angry. She didn't try to put items into evidence that she said she would. She didn't object to a witness testifying that she said she would. I had three witnesses, and she didn't call any of them. I won my case, but it was despite her, not because of her.
She doesn't listen to the client and did not do her research. expected client to contact her to find information regarding the case instead of contacting them to notify them of changes.
