It was a pleasure working with Debra. I was called as a witness in a custody case that was very complex with lots of history that was very emotional for me to have to relive. She was patient, attentive, very compassionate and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her for anyone seeking a Family Law Attorney.

Debra amazed me with both her grit and professionalism. I have unfortunately had to deal with many lawyers this past year, and Debra was hands down the best lawyer to work with. Her knowledge of the law and ability to deal with rude lawyers without even flinching was seriously impressive. She is both confident and competent. She knocked out everything I needed her to and I will DEFINITELY be going back to her if I need a lawyer again. Absolutely fantastic!!

Hired Attorney

This lawyer was specifically recommended by a "corporate" lawyer as one of the best family law practitioners in the area. In hindsight, I would have to agree. She was especially helpful in explaining all of the available options in my specific case as well as recommending a course of action and the logic behind such recommendations. However, I never felt pressured into an action that I did not agree with. I was very pleased with her representation of my case both to the court and opposing counsel and would wholeheartedly highly recommend her to anyone seeking representation in a family law matter.

I have had the privilege of working with Lawyer Debra Powers on two separate occasions. In each case her recommendations, work and the resulting outcome were exceptional and timely. Given her knowledge and professionalism, I would recommend her to anyone seeking a divorce in Virginia.
