Didn't have a whole lot of money to hire a lawyer, so found her to be cheaper than most. But I guess as the saying goes.... you get what you pay for stands true for her. I ended up getting the bad end of the whole divorce. She pretty much just put in her appearance and that was about it. Was near impossible to get ahold of her. The secretary that answers the phone would take a some info and in a few days there would be a short letter in the mail from her that didn't answer question anyway.
Julie is uncommunicative, unresponsive, and after having her as a court appointed attorney for my son, I would do whatever necessary to use someone else. She only returned numerous calls after I told her if I didn’t hear from her within the next hour, my next calls would be yo the Kansas and Nebraska state Bars Asdociations.
I hired her for my divorce. She never provided me with half the information I should of had. It took over a year from the time I filed for the divorce for it to finally go to court. No dispute of items, just visitation. There were forms my ex told me were supposed to be in by certain date, and I never even was asked to fill out any. Ended up ex gets to claim son bi-yearly for taxes, only has to pay $50 a month in child support, and I have to meet him 700 miles one-way 2xs in summer and xmas
