I have been representing people who have been injured or killed due to the wrongful acts of others for 35 years.

Education

In 1980 I graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with Highest Honors in Philosophy and Political Science. While at UCSB I was selected to the Dean's List every quarter and served on the College of Letters and Sciences Dean's Honors Council.

I attended law school at Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley, graduating in 1985. While at Boalt I served as an Executive Editor for the Ecology Law Quarterly and I worked as a student intern for the Alaska Supreme Court.

Experience

After graduating from Boalt Hall, I began my career as a trial lawyer with the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office from 1985 to 1990. During this time I was a member of the Hardcore Gang Unit and prosecuted numerous murder and attempted murder trials involving various members of Blood and Crips gangs in Compton and South Central Los Angeles.

In June of 1990 my wife and I moved to Sacramento and I joined the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office. During my career with the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office, I served in the Career Criminal Unit, the Gang Unit and the Major Crimes Unit where I prosecuted 17 murder trials.

PERRY MASON!!! Wow! Mark is a superior attorney! Mark was so amazing, I used his services twice. He demonstrated his knowledge, dedication, and desire to be there for me from the beginning. I interviewed several attorney's prior to selecting Mark. He explained each step of my case, worked around my schedule, and met me in a centralized location. He worked evenings and weekends to ensure he covered all angels. I often joked that he needed to make time for fun. My case went to trail but it was a long four year process. His techniques, knowledge, and abilities were comparable to Perry Mason! It was a thrill to watch him in action in the courtroom. The expert witnesses he selected, were expert. His cross examination of defendants left them looking blindsided! He lead them where he needed them without them being aware and sealed the deal. Mark won my case. The settlement I received was greater than anticipated in both cases. Mark surpassed my expectations in every area. Mark is the best!

Hired Attorney

Mark and his staff are very efficient ant quick to respond to any little or big question you might have. There is never a stupid question at that firm. Mark does a great job of making sure you understand everything that it going on. He is wonderful about preparing you for litigations and statements. He calls with updates as well as just checks in to see how you are doing/feeling.
