About Omar Nur

Omar Nur, the founder of Nur Law, is a dedicated attorney and Washington native who has deep roots in the community he serves. Early in his career, Omar represented indigent clients at the public defenders’ office and various legal clinics, gaining invaluable experience in a wide range of legal issues, including juvenile crimes, serious felonies, family law, wills and trusts, and real estate. After establishing Nur Law, he concentrated his practice on personal injury, criminal defense, and traffic matters, while also representing clients in hearings related to probation violations, vacating and sealing criminal records, and restoring gun rights. Outside of his legal work, Omar enjoys spending quality time with his wife and daughter, and he is passionate about outdoor activities such as bicycling, jogging, hiking, kayaking, snowboarding, surfing, and scuba diving. His commitment to excellence has earned him numerous accolades, including the Super Lawyers Rising Star award from 2016 to 2019 and the Washington State Association for Justice New Lawyer Award in 2016.
