Andre Lang's roots trace back to Seattle's Madrona Neighborhood in the Central District. He attended St. Therese School and Bishop O'Dea High School, both situated in the heart of Downtown Seattle.
Mr. Lang pursued his undergraduate education at Seattle University, where he earned degrees in Humanities/Political Science and Criminal Justice in 1995, thanks to athletic and academic scholarships. His legal journey led him to graduate with a Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law in December 2004, where he was recognized as a Diversity Award recipient. He is an active member of various legal associations, including the Washington State, King County, Snohomish, and Skagit County Bar Associations. Additionally, he's a 2015 Fellow of the Washington Leadership Institute (WLI).
Before venturing into law school, Andre served as a police officer for the City of Kent, Washington. He also had a stint playing professional basketball in Europe. He continues to make a positive impact as a mentor for At-Risk Youth and contributes his expertise as a Committee or Board Member for several Non-Profit organizations. Furthermore, he serves on the Practice of Law Board (POLB) for the Washington State Bar Association.
During his time in law school, he worked as a clerk for Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP, gaining experience in Multi-District Litigation and Class Action cases. After completing law school, Mr. Lang held various roles, including working as a Regulatory Attorney for Children's Hospital, serving as a Recruiting Manager for a Fortune 500 Company, and practicing in private law firms, focusing on Matrimonial, Child Custody, and Estate Planning matters.
Throughout his career, Andre Lang has been involved in classes and seminars addressing topics like career paths in uncertain economies and job searching strategies. He has also actively participated in forums discussing youth and the law.
In recognition of his accomplishments, he earned the title of Fellow in the Washington Leadership Institute.
Besides his legal practice, Mr. Lang is engaged in ancillary businesses, including tax preparation, estate planning, and commercial lease and contract negotiation. He represents clients such as Idol Sports & Entertainment, Inc. and KWEST Incorporated.
Andre dedicates his time to pro bono activities, notably as an active mentor and Committee Chair for Seattle University's Men's Basketball Program and as a Vice President on the Board of Directors for Redeeming Soles. Additionally, he serves on the WSBA Practice of Law Board (POLB).
His professional memberships include the Washington State Bar Association, King County Bar Association, American Bar Association, Snohomish County Bar Association, and Skagit County Bar Association.
