They said some horrible things about me that weren't true. They also had some facts that wrong and when I told him this he still refused to appeal their decision. He didn't speak up on my be half in court if anything he add fuel to the fire. He did a horrible job of being my lawyer.
My son hired Gerling Law, and did not expect to be handed off to Mr. Poag. This attorney did absolutely nothing to help my son get disability. We had to do all the work ourselves. He would not return calls nor answer emails. Do NOT hire him if you need a good attorney to represent you! Even though he did nothing to help my son, he got a percentage of his back pay!
Made me feel stupid and frustrated! Hard to communicate with. Put words in my mouth. Wouldn't meet me in person. When asked to share information, he used "attorney verbage" that went over my head and wouldn't explain himself. Said I needed to just let him take care of things, then was "too busy" to deal with what I asked for. I didn't know I was "hiring him" when I called his coworker for help. Big mistake allowing them to be the one to offer to "help" me.
Complete was of time. Wasted 8 months of it by zero communication and decides to tell me he’s unsure he’ll be able to win my case that’s a month and a half away. Zero confidence!!!!
