My first meeting with Benjamin Aylsworth was August, 2012. My case was not settled until April, 2016. I was kept informed by Benjamin the entire time, either in person, telephone or written communication. During my court hearings, I was so well represented and informed as to what to expect. I was treated with the upmost respect and dignity. I would recommend Benjamin and this law firm to anyone requiring legal service
I was discriminated from employment and denied a job when I was pregnant. I emailed several lawyers before meeting with Mr. Dutkanych. The other lawyer was not very empathetic to my situation and did not really want to take the case. Mr. Dutkanych was very understanding and took my case. He explained everything and was quick to respond to my questions via email. He negotiated a settlement on my behalf and made sure I was happy with the negotiations. I received a fair settlement.
I wrote to Attorney Dutkanych with reference to my concerns of Atty. Sarah Guffey’s representation of my case. Attorney Dutkanych skirt the issues I addressed with favorable comments for Ms. Guffey. Andrew Dutkanych confidently vouched for Atty. Guffey which vexes me as a layperson to see the skill, knowledge, “expertise or years of service” Sarah chanted were equal to the “hype” she conveyed regarding her capability to represent my case. To be frank, if this is the level of legal professionalism in Biesecker Dutkanych & Macer, LLC then it is quite a sham and scam to potential clients. Attorney Sarah E. Guffey’s conduct throughout my case raises significant questions about her adherence to the ethical standards of the legal profession. Her lack of diligence, poor communication, misrepresentation, and failure to act truthfully have left me deeply dissatisfied with her representation. Additionally, the lack of responsiveness in Biesecker Dutkanych & Macer, LLC leadership.
I received legal representation from Attorney Sarah E. Guffey. I am writing to voice my concerns regarding her handling of my case, specifically citing issues of lack of diligence, communication, misrepresentation, truthfulness, and professional misconduct. Unfortunately, Sarah’s communication was sparse, inconsistent, and at times unprofessional. During one meeting, I explicitly asked her to negotiate and discuss settlement outcomes with me beforehand so I could make the final decision. However, Sarah settled the case without my prior knowledge or approval and informed me afterward. When I challenged her, she presented unfavorable outcomes that compromised my position and disregarded my input. She concealed mistakes, including erroneous phone calls and rescheduled meetings, without informing me. For example, she failed to notify me of a change in date and time for an important meeting with opposing counsel. Ms. Guffey, in my opinion, didn't represent me well as a client.
