Hired Attorney

This woman sat back and let abusive ex-boyfriend of mine file for custody of my son who wasn’t his son at all. My mother and I were prepared to testify and Jhette sat back and never let me speak. This so-called lawyer allowed an abusive man to perjure himself on the witness stand and allow him to lie and say “he’d provided diapers for my son” and get presumed status awarded to him. Jhette didn’t even object, file evidence I had, or do anything to stop the fraud! Because of her negligence my child endured sexual abuse at the hands of the fraudster “father” and I’ve been forced into a hostage situation where I have to “coparent” my children with this abuser. She basically botched my case intentionally and allowed lies to prevail in court. Even though numerous witnesses wrote letters and showed up to court to testify, Jhette made sure we never got to speak the truth. She was the worst possible lawyer to have representing me at a critical time in my families lives!!

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
