As a beneficiary, what can I do if the administrator of the estate did some fraud?

Answered by attorney Edward L. Armstrong (Unclaimed Profile)
Estate Planning lawyer at Edward L. Armstrong, P.C.
With regard to the POD account - do you know what company held this account? You may have to commence litigation if these people have actually defrauded you. There may also be an issue of undue influence of your father by your cousin and/or the special administrator. You need counsel to represent you on this.

If I inherit from my mother, does that inheritance become joint property?

Answered by attorney Victor L. Waid (Unclaimed Profile)
Estate Planning lawyer at Law Office of Victor Waid
You are advised to seek out an estate planning attorney and have a trust set up for yourself only, and have the inheritance paid into your trust only, so as to maintain the character of separate property, and in your truest you will need to specifically name the people you do not want to inherit.

When I sell the home will the judgement be taken out of the sale price?

Answered by attorney Nathan James Wagner (Unclaimed Profile)
Estate Planning lawyer at The Law Office of Nathan Wagner
If the person holding the judgement files a judgement lien, then the judgment will be taken out of the sales price. The lien is not created automatically when the personal judgment is issued against you.
