The buy-in is usually split among the existing partners, not put into the business. Then everyone has a fractionally smaller share to account for one more partner, and everything continues to be split according to the new fractional interests. The "consideration" for the buy-in is that each partner will now have a smaller share of profits, and the buy-in is to off-set that reduction. But its whatever you agreed. If there wasn't any agreement, you are headed for trouble.

You are advised to seek probate litigation counsel to assist you in filing a petition for probate and have yourself appointed as administrator and the executor removed. DO NOT DELAY. The assets will be wasted, meaning not distributed as directed by the will. Also there may be grounds for a criminal complaint for embezzlement.

Are you the trustee? If so, are you sure you want to transfer it? I think you need to talk with an accountant and an attorney to make sure the transfer makes sense. If it does, either deed would work.
