Can I be forced to loan a portion of my estate money to an executor?

More facts are needed. I suggest you meet with an attorney who can review the Will and court papers.

What are my rights to my dad's home?

Answered by attorney Christine James
Estate Planning lawyer at James Law Group
If there is a will it needs to go through probate in order to transfer the house to you. If your brother refuses to start the process, hire an attorney and go to court, file your own Petition for Probate and being the process yourself.

Do I have any rights to the home after my husband dies if my name is not on the title?

Answered by attorney Christine James
Estate Planning lawyer at James Law Group
Probably some rights, but it does not sound like a long term marriage. See a probate attorney to protect the rights you do have.
