My recent experience with Noel was extremely disappointing. When I reached out after the death of my mother, simply to request a copy of her will and any related documents, I was met with rudeness and condescension. He implied that asking for the documents was “too soon” and suggested that the family was being greedy — when in fact, we were only trying to honor my mother’s wishes. In times of death, knowing how they want their body handled is needed quickly which I would have thought was obvious. He also addressed me in a demeaning and unprofessional manner, calling me “sweetheart” during the conversation. To make matters worse, he implied that we would need to hire him in order to receive the documents, which is simply not true. Families have a legal right to these documents without retaining an attorney. At a time when compassion and professionalism should have been a given, we experienced neither. Based on this interaction, I would not recommend his services.
