Hired Attorney

I made an appointment with Mr. Abbott. When I got there, a different lawyer took the information and started handling my case. I never did meet Mr. Abbott. I finally fired my attorney and worked directly with the insurance company. When I settled with the insurance company, Mr. Abbott's office wanted to be paid even though they did very little work on my case. The itemized bill they sent me did not reflect how they came up with the charges to get paid.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
