Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer. On behalf of my mother, who is not active online, I am sharing her review of the Law Offices of Geoffrey D Mueller: I am extremely grateful with how Mr. Mueller’s office supported me for almost two and a half years, which later included estate litigation. They spent countless hours on the phone with me, poured through copious notes and history, supported me remotely from Texas, and provided excellent legal advice. Geoff, his paralegal Sarah and the rest of his staff addressed my every concern to the most minute details, presenting astonishing summaries in their legal paperwork. I am indebted to each and every one at the practice for their hard work, devotion, kindness and consideration.
In two words, tenacious and brilliant.
Please read all reviews as I would never recommend him at all. He is rude at times, very condescending and if you ask questions he talks to you as if you were a child. He lacks social skills and thinks he is so smart and you the client is stupid. His attitude is do what he says and never keeps you abreast of what is going on with your case. I had to wait for months to hear from him and that was because I followed up as to what was happening. This is not the profession for this man. I have dealt with attorneys for wills, and other things and by far he is the worst. Worst experience dealing with this attorney. So sorry I hired him.
Geoffrey Mueller was also an investigator for the Office of Attorney Ethics in N.J. and was assigned a grievance I had filed against another attorney. He held onto the paperwork for an entire 14 months and didn't do a thing. He never returned any of my phone calls and never brought me up to date. Every time I complained to the District Office or the OAE itself, I was advised "He's still working on it," when that wasn't the case at all, and it was finally transferred back to the OAE for investigation and determination. The process had to start all over again from the very beginning after he wasted over a year doing nothing. He also said there was no breach of attorney-client confidentiality when obviously there was from court papers filled. He also did not seem to be aware of the many reasons other than mental incapacity or child protection for which a Guardian ad Litum can be appointed. I did not hire Mr. Mueller, as he was assigned to me. I would never use his services ever again.
I do not recommend this attorney for many reasons. Most importantly, our communications were often contentious, unproductive and left me feeling belittled and disparaged for asking questions. Many weeks would pass with no updates or responses despite repeated inquiries as to the status of our case. After almost 9 months, I became so frustrated with the lack of progress; I consulted with another attorney who successfully helped me navigate the situation. Sadly, I never felt Mr. Mueller advocated for me to the best of his ability. I do believe he is a capable attorney but that my case was just not that important to him. The case was finally resolved leaving me disillusioned and with a very large bill.
Never responded to my request as was the case with others that I contacted through this site. One called and took information and never got back with me. I guess this is the way people are in these times.
