Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer.Lawsuits are stressful, especially when you’re on the receiving end of a complaint. My wife and I were shocked and dismayed to learn that we had been named as defendants in a real estate-related suit, and we had no idea who to turn to. Mr. Steinberg’s online profile spoke to us right away. There were so many stellar reviews, and they all proved to be true – he was extremely professional, his replies were prompt, his knowledge filled us with confidence and peace of mind, and his guidance was invaluable. He patiently took the time to answer all of our questions during the consultation and provided, in detail, the next steps that we should take, which involved contacting our homeowner’s insurance company to see if they would defend us in this matter (a testament to the fact that he put our interests before his own). And if they couldn’t help us, then he said he would be glad to do so. My wife and I know we’re in good hands and we’re so grateful that we found him.
Above and beyond! Keven Helped me with a time sensitive real estate contract, He was extremely knowledgeable and responsive! Thank you Keven
Keven is a phenomenal person and lawyer! He has helped me on a number of cases, from a residential issue to a family matter to even a work issue. He is well versed, extremely knowledgeable, super responsive, and even works on off hours or vacation. He has a heart of gold and really cares about his clients. He spent as much time as I needed talking me through the whole process making sure I was comfortable and understood what was happening every step of the way. He is affordable and well worth his weight in gold! He is fair, honest, and truly has his clients best interest at heart. I honestly can not say enough good things about him. I highly recommend him for whatever legal issue you may have. I refer all my friends and family to him, and if it is not an issue he is well versed in he helps them find a great colleague who he trust can assist them! For being such a kind hearted person, you are thoroughly surprised that when it come to legal matters he is a pit-bull and will have your bac
I’ve worked with Keven on a variety of contracts for my public relations business and would highly recommend him! He works quickly and professionally, showcases legal knowledge across many industries, and always explains everything in layman’s terms, making the process of working together an informative learning experience. He is also always sure to bring to light any considerations along the way, many of which have been critical to my success as a small business owner. Keven is excellent at what he does and a truly kind person, and that means a lot these days.
Keven is the best! He put together an investment agreement for a project I’m working on, and I felt instantly heard, understood, and protected. He took the time to hear all of my needs and clearly outlined what would be in the agreement and why. Beyond being highly skilled, forthcoming with all information, and incredibly agile as a lawyer, Keven exhibits care in all of his work and for each of his clients.
If you are looking for a lawyer who will fight for you and make you feel heard, look no further. From the start, Keven made me feel like I had a voice while navigating my legal issues. He carefully guided me step by step, offering detailed advice and never missed a beat. He is not only knowledgeable in his craft but also compassionate, the perfect combination in times of stress. I truly felt that Keven cared for my best interest, and his guidance is what helped me come to a resolution to my legal issues without going through a lawsuit. I genuinely believe there is no one better than Keven to navigate you in your legal matters.
Thankfully for me my situation was resolved, so in the end I didn't require Kevin's services. However, in the few brief exchanges we had it was clear to me that he is not only very responsive, but demonstrated a keen interest and concern for my circumstance. Though I can't speak of his acumen from personal experience I was drawn to Kevin's practice largely by the universal high praise from other clients. It's reassuring to know I have someone I can trust who's a phone call away.
Keven Steinberg is the legal counsel that you want to represent you. Kevin is experienced, dedicated and effective lawyer who was able to settle my case within a timely manner, even though my case was complex. I want to thank you Keven for consultation and exceeding all my expectations. You are a blessing and a beacon of hope for people in need of LAWYER representing the people! I will refer Keven to clients who are in need of a great lawyer!
Steinberg law has been a strong support system for many of our legal needs in practice areas of business and labor. Keven is an elite attorney who always puts his client’s needs first. He’s one of the few lawyers who strikes the perfect balance between friendship and professionalism. It’s very rare. Tough situations and challenges arise and Keven is always there to provide reassurance and legal advice and set roadmaps for successful cases. He’s also extremely fair and never greedy. I strongly recommend his services and I look forward to a strong relationship many years ahead.

Representative Cases & TransactionsCasesEncino Motorcars, LLC v. Navarro - 138 S. Ct. 1134 (2018)
[U.S. Supreme Court]
"RULE: Because the Fair Labor St
ards Act gives no textual indication that its exemptions should be construed narrowly, there is no reason to give them anything other than a fair, rather than a narrow, interpretation.FACTS: Respondents, current
former service advisors for petitioner Encino Motorcars, LLC, sued petitioner for backpay, alleging that petitioner violated the Fair Labor St
ards Act (FLSA) by failing to pay them overtime. Petitioner moved to dismiss, arguing that service advisors are exempt from the FLSA’s overtime-pay requirement under 29 U. S. C. §213(b)(10)(A), which applies to “any salesman, partsman, or mechanic primarily engaged in selling or servicing automobiles, trucks, or farm implements.” The District Court agreed
dismissed the suit. The Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit reversed. It found the statute ambiguous
the legislative history inconclusive,
it deferred to a 2011 Department of Labor rule that interpreted “salesman” to exclude service advisors. This Court vacated the Ninth Circuit's judgment, holding that courts could not defer to the procedurally defective 2011 rule, Encino Motorcars, LLC v. Navarro, 579 U. S. ___, 136 S. Ct. 2117, 195 L. Ed. 2d 382, (Encino I), but not deciding whether the exemption covers service advisors. On rem
, the Ninth Circuit again held that the exemption does not include service advisors.ISSUE: Were automobile dealership's service advisors exempt from general Fair Labor St
ards Act (29 U.S.C.S. § 201 et seq.) overtime-pay requirements under 29 U.S.C.S. § 213(b)(10)(A), which exempted any salesman primarily engaged in selling or servicing automobiles?ANSWER: Yes.
CONCLUSION: The court held that automobile service advisors were exempt from the FLSA overtime requirement because they were salesmen primarily engaged in servicing cars since they sold customers services for their vehicles
they were also primarily engaged in servicing cars since they were integral to the servicing process as they met customers, suggested
sold repair
maintenance services,
followed up as the services were performed. Although service advisors did not spend most of their time physically repairing cars, 29 U.S.C.S. § 213(b)(10)(A) was not so constrained,
use of the disjunctive word "or" to join "selling"
"servicing" suggested that the exemption covered a salesman primarily engaged in either activity. There was no reason to construe FLSA exemptions narrowly,
neither an agency h
book nor the FLSA's legislative history supported a contrary interpretation."Source: https://www.lexisnexis.com/community/casebrief/p/casebrief-encino-motorcars-llc-v-navarro
