The firm was established by Susan Stricklin Wilson in 1988. The firm represents individuals in San Diego and throughout the State of California. Susan Stricklin Wilson is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law. The firm's support staff consist of paralegals.
I cannot recommend Susan Wilson and her firm highly enough. This firm is rare gem that combines the excellence and top quality work that you would expect from a top law firm with a level of kindness, compassion, and understanding that is truly special. Susan is a Stanford and USC law graduate, so I anticipated that her work would be excellent. What impressed me the most was compassionate, kind and understanding way that Susan and her firm accommodated our special needs.
We used Attorney Wilson’s professional services to update our Trust & also to navigate through an Estate closure. The latter was somewhat complicated & extended over a year. We dealt primarily with Attorney Wilson & her accounting assistant, Judy McCoy, but everyone was professional & helpful. We never doubted their advice or their ethics. We would recommend this office to anyone.
I worked with Susan Stricklin Wilson and her office for the past 2 years. They were very professional and always answered their phone when they are in the office, even Susan answers when her staff is not in. I worked with Linda Short closely over the 2 years and she always had an answer for my questions or would call me back right away with one. They made sure everything in the case was done legally. It was a pleasure working with their office.
My recent experience with Susan Wilson Law was extremely negative, primarily due to their severe lack of communication. From the outset, I encountered significant difficulty in getting timely responses or updates. I had to constantly prod the firm for even the most basic information about my case. This lack of proactivity was not only frustrating but also created a sense of uncertainty and neglect. I rarely received updates unless I initiated contact, which is unacceptable for any professional service, especially legal representation. In addition to the communication problems, I was also dissatisfied with the handling of my case and the level of advocacy I received. I cannot recommend Susan Wilson Law. Their lack of proactivity and responsiveness made a difficult situation even worse. If you value clear, timely, and consistent communication from your attorney, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere.
