In 2002, Gabriel Katzner, the founding partner of Katzner Law Group received his Juris Doctorate with honors from the Fordham University School of Law. While in law school, he was active as the editor of the Urban Law Journal. After spending the first 7 years of his legal career practicing at Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP, an international law firm based in New York, he went on to found his own firm. While attending college and before attending law school, he worked for his family’s accounting firm and successfully passed the Certified Public Accountant examination after graduating college in 1999.
He is actively involved in a variety of community and professional organizations and is an active member of Wealth Council LLC, a leading provider of ongoing education and services to attorneys in the estate planning field. He prides himself on being a leader in the estate planning arena. He is currently licensed to practice in California and New York and is also admitted to practice before several United Federal Courts. He is married to his wonderful and supportive wife Olivia and has two young children, Owen and Lila. He enjoys reading, the beach, photography, travel, coaching his son’s soccer team, and spending time with family.
