Kristina M. King started her career as a Trust Officer for a national bank, and she then worked in private practice with the law firm of Fauver, Keyse-Walker and Donovan for thirteen years, six of which she was a shareholder of the firm. She established the law firm of King & Chavez, LLP with attorney Stephen Chavez, CPA, JD, L.L.M. in Taxation. She is the former Co-Chair of the New/Young Lawyer's Committee of the Lorain County Bar Association, the former Co-Chair of the Committee for the Women's Fund of the Community Foundation of Lorain County, and formerly served on the Grants Committee of the Community Foundation of Lorain County. She is past President of the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Lorain County, and she is currently serving as a member of said Board of Directors. She has gained a practical knowledge of trust administration and estate planning through her experience as a Trust Officer. This knowledge has been further augmented by her more than thirteen years of private practice experience and her more than sixteen years of experience since she has been admitted to the practice of law. She drafts many complex estate plans, including many types of trusts, last will and testaments, and powers of attorney. Her clients range from high net worth business owners to individuals with more modest assets. She takes great care in shepherding the surviving loved ones of deceased individuals through the complex process of probate administration. She also prepares premarital agreements, federal estate tax returns, handles real estate transactions, and works with family-owned businesses on business succession plans. She lives on the west side of Cleveland with her husband and her two daughters.
