Renée joined PMT in March, 2023 after working for a Justice of the Supreme Court as a Principal Law Clerk and a major insurance company as in-house counsel. Renée’s experience as a Principal Law Clerk introduced her to areas of practice including labor law, employment law, complex litigation matters, contract law, legal research and writing.
While working as in-house counsel, Renée was in charge of a heavy and active caseload handling hundreds of motor vehicle and premises liability bodily injury matters, from case inception to resolution. During her work as in-house counsel, Renée handled depositions, complex discovery matters, settlement negotiations and trials. Renée is an extremely proficient and experienced litigation attorney with non-jury and jury trial experience as well as arbitration and mediation experience.
Renée began her legal career in a courtroom as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, New York. She handled hundreds of misdemeanor and felony cases during her nearly ten-year career as an ADA from drafting and filing complaints to grand jury to trial.
Renée graduated with high honors from her alma mater, University of Massachusetts – Lowell, with a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Legal Studies. She proudly graduated with her Juris Doctor degree from Syracuse University College of Law.
