Ed brings a unique blend of financial acumen and legal expertise to his litigation practice. After graduating from Yale University (2013), he began his career in the fast-paced world of finance, working as an analyst and derivatives trader at hedge funds and proprietary trading firms. This early experience developed his precision with complex data, risk analysis, and strategic decision-making—skills that now inform his work as a litigator.
While earning his J.D. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law (2019), Ed served as a summer clerk to the Honorable Lorna Propes of the Illinois State Court, assisting on a high-profile tort case involving a plane crash that resulted in a verdict of $115 million. He also spent a summer with the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office, gaining early experience in criminal litigation.
Since graduating from law school, Ed has focused on a wide range of civil litigation, including motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, complex business disputes, intentional torts involving violence and sexual assault, civil rights violations, and cases of police misconduct and brutality. Today, he brings these experiences to his work at Pillinger Miller Tarallo LLP, where he advocates for clients with a strategic, disciplined, and results-oriented approach. His background in both finance and law allows him to navigate complex legal challenges with clarity and precision.
