Anthony has been a practicing attorney for over twenty five years. He joined Pillinger, Miller, Tarallo in an “Of Counsel” capacity in March 2011. Anthony was a founding partner of the New York City based law firms of Silverman, Collura & Chernis, P.C. and McManus, Collura & Richter, P.C. These firms engaged in the defense of general and professional liability claims on behalf of insureds. These activities included the defense of cases involving construction accidents; labor law claims; slip and fall incidents; commercial contract disputes; auto, bus and other vehicular accidents, environmental issues, fraud and misrepresentation claims; legal, medical, real estate and accounting malpractice claims and miscellaneous tort matters on behalf of Arch Insurance Group, CNA Insurance Company ,Chicago Insurance Company, Interstate Insurance Group, American International Group, Lloyd’s of London, Kemper Insurance Company, Scottsdale Insurance Company, and/or Zurich Insurance Company as well as the Metropolitan Transportation Authority and its subsidiaries. Anthony has also served as private counsel to a former Chairman of the New York State Senate Insurance Committee.
Anthony has also represented private and public companies as outside counsel in the digital media, telecommunications, transportation, identity management, entertainment, manufacturing, brokerage, software and other industries. He represented these companies in a wide variety of business and commercial transactions including public and private securities offerings; securities law compliance and reporting matters; merger, acquisition and sale transactions; secured and unsecured loan transactions; corporate governance and compliance matters; commercial credit and lease transactions; intellectual property transactions and joint venture and company formation transactions.
He also serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Legal Officer of Guidepost Solutions, LLC. Guidepost Solutions provides U.S. and International investigations, compliance, monitoring, security and technology consulting solutions for clients in a wide range of industries.
