Have you consulted or hired this lawyer?
Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer.Mr. Denton resolved a contract dispute I had with county government. They behaved badly. Mr. Denton made phone calls on my behalf and within 2 hours the disagreement was resolved in my favor. He did not charge for this service.
He handled my conveyance perfectly. I also spoke to him about gas leasing and was impressed with his experience. He is the most referred lawyer in our gas lease forum.
Went to him because I was referred. Told him my issues and he said he would review the documents and get back to me……he never did. Hid behind paralegal. No calls to discuss. Then he tells me” did you read the contract”? Oh, I need to get another attorney to review the contract. Awful experience! Stay away! I’ve dealt with attorneys but none were worse than Christopher Denton! One word! Stay away! If you don’t don’t then just wait for the “I told you do”!
Worst experience I’ve ever had with an attorney. I buy homes nationwide in this case a seller in Elmira was upside down on the mortgage and close to missing a payment. Because they were upside down they could either do a short sale or have someone else take over the payments. She decided she would rather I buy the home and take over her payments and then lease it so that I could make monthly cash flow and have her mortgage covered. She understands if crap hits the fan we can always do a shortsale. All of this I explained to Denton and he took the case and asked to send him the paperwork. I called everyday for 2 weeks leaving messages with his paralegals but never got a call back. Finally he responds not with a call but a letter saying he denies the closing and essentially that the seller doesn’t know what they are getting into. Now the seller is days from missing a payment, as Chris wasted 2 weeks of time in which we could’ve closed. Seller is stressed I’m stressed and options limited
