Our firm provides personalized, experienced, and successful representation for clients in need of a Criminal Defense Attorney to represent them in matters before the Rhode Island Federal Court and Massachusetts Federal and District Courts. Our practice focuses on Criminal Defense for Misdemeanors and Felonies, Military Defense, Federal Criminal Defense, and Violent Crime matters. We also represent those suffering a personal injury. We are licensed to practice in both state and federal courts in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York and Florida.

As a former prosecutor with the US Army JAG Corps and a Special Assistant US Attorney, Attorney Calcagni is well versed in the prosecution and defense of all types of criminal cases. This experience is invaluable in his ability to defend accused individuals on trial for Federal and State Crimes.

I am very thankful I got the chance to meet me Calcagni , I happened to get myself into several different car situations from a negligent driving to getting tickets months later , if it wasn’t for mr Calcagni and the non stop efforts I would of prolly lost my case and still been without a license today so anyone who isn’t sure who to ask for help or were is there a good , smart , dedicated lawer who will never stop fighting for you Mr Calcagni is the gentleman I would call right away

Hired Attorney John Louis Calcagni III

I hire this Lawyer in march 2020 to represent my son in Rhode Island Court ,he never had an in person meeting with his client going on seven months. neither did he file a single paper work to have his case adjudicate district court as he promised when I gave him $5000 As a practicing attorney he would have known that felonies cases would be sent to superior court unless the attorney filed motions for the case to remain in district court. His sole intentions was that the case would be moved to superior court where he would then asked for more money When I found out that this Lawyer didn't do what he promised I hired another attorney. This attorney then kept $2500 with fees that wasn't legit. He charged for consultation even when his website indicates free Please don't make the same mistake as I did

Hired Attorney John Louis Calcagni III

The attorney was more interested in getting the money up front before ANY consultation. Then he was never here in Providence. He works more with military law than with Priviate citizen. He had no real care about my case and never read all the files to present a qualified defense. I would not recommend John Calcagni.
