Mr Jones had been recommended to me to draw up a revocable trust. He was named as an expert on estates and trusts by another attorney w a different speciality. Imagine how I felt when I called his office to be met with a barrage of questions - name, phone, mailing address email address but then beneficiary name (not trustee as would have been correct), street address, on and on; all this before I could hire the man! The name of the lawyer who recommended Mr Jones. Was I to be vetted, docced? When I drew the line, the secretary became icily rude and dismissive, tried to have me hire a different lawyer from the firm; told me she would see if Mr Jones would make himself available. She did call promptly and as expected the next day to tell me no. This is not the kind of law firm I am accustomed to; not the kind I would hire. Perhaps Mr Jones is five star worthy. The secretary, not so much. Buyer beware.
