Julie Myers, a native of Washington, D.C., brings 27 years of legal experience to Myers Law LLC, focusing on estate planning, wills and trusts, business law, and contracts. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech and her law degree from the University of Baltimore, where she participated in a Civil Law Clinic and a study abroad program in Scotland. After graduating, Julie clerked for Judge Lenore R. Gelfman in Maryland’s Circuit Court and practiced civil litigation in the Baltimore/Washington, D.C. area for a decade. She was admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court Bar in 2005 and also served as a court-appointed mediator. In 2007, Julie moved to Colorado, where she practiced law for 15 years, focusing on estate planning, probate, and business law. She served as an administrative law judge and started Myers Law in 2017. Julie returned to Maryland in 2021, reopening Myers Law to serve clients in Ellicott City, Columbia, and nearby areas.
Julie is active in her community, having served as a Rotary Club president, hospice board member, Girl Scout leader, and Girls on the Run coach. She enjoys watercolor painting, ceramics, and spending time with her husband and two children.
