Atty Fitzsimmons was a terrible GAL for my kids. He was highly favored with their mom, despite clear evidence of physical abuse, substance use, and horrific treatment. He had very minimal contact with the kids for someone who was supposed to represent them. I did end up obtaining full placement, but only by working around him. He almost reluctantly received the evidence to finally agree that my kids' voices were authentic in not wanting to be with their abusive mother. He was a tremendous barrier to justice, and I was disgusted to have to pay him money for a gross abuse of power. He did not listen to my kids' words, and took all the lies that their mom fed him as truth to their own detriment. Our case lasted one year, when it could have been done in a few months if he did his job. He needs a new line of law to practice, and he should NOT represent kids. He also would not work with me during the financial hardship of the divorce and tried to hold me in contempt of court in the middle of
