Thomas Tokar

We have been fighting the BMV for over a year to get my wife a REAL ID. Needed a Marriage Certificate from Rota Spain from 1970. Tom took the case, 30 days later had us an Original copy of Marriage License certificate and then we got it translated from Spanish to English, another BMV requirement, and took it to the BMV along with all the other papers needed for a REAL ID and in within 30 minutes we were done with the REAL ID being issued. Thank you Tom for getting a Marriage certificate for us even though we had an expired 1970 passport signed and Certified by the Consulate "Seal" that she was indeed married and that her married name was added to her Passport, and a Certified Divorce Decree, 1978, and this still wasn’t enough to get this through. That Rota Spain Official Marriage Certificate was all that was keeping the REAL ID from happening and Tom came through on this. So, if you are having a problem needing a Certified/Official Marriage Certificate, I recommend giving Tom a call.

We let the Judge decide and I went home 2 hours later on Probation, without requiring any house arrest. I can start rebuilding my life instead of missing out on precious years with my family and son. Tom Tokar is very knowledgeable and definitely knows what he is doing. Tom works very hard for his clients and tries his best to fit you in when you need him. Tom is I believe one of the very few lawyers that comes in on the weekends to help out his clients. Tom is very reasonable when it comes to affording his services and will setup payment plans if needed. I couldn't have asked for a better lawyer to represent me in my case.

Tom was such a compassionate man. So many lawyers have so many clients and you feel like just a number. Tom didn’t make me feel that way. He listened and helped above and beyond.
