Ms. Shepherd is a very good attorney. Her staff, however, leave a lot to be desired. Issues: 1)the secretary was to send our documents via email for us to review,she didn't know how. 2)53 typos were found by us, some significant, 3 sets of corrections were done total 3) client files were left on the receptionists desk OPEN and readable by the public 4) messages left w/receptionist for attorney, attorney claims she never rcvd them.
Mrs shepherd's services were a disappointment. The divorce was a lengthy process with repeated court dates, and giving me notice to hearings was last minute. She made changes without prior consent. Unfortunately a subsequent court order provided some verbage that now years later has allowed my ex to demand money from military retirement despite all marital and retirement assets having been previously equalized. Please do your research before retaining this attorney.
Unprofessional, immature and unknowledgable. You will not win your case. She also has some BO coming from somewhere on her body when you get clise to her
My experience with this firm was disappointing. Written communications from the office often had to be closely examined due to errors in grammar, spelling, and incomplete coverage of the subject matter. This firm was did not adequately represent or defend my interest in court. There preparation with the client prior to count was sub standard and showed during court. The court conduct and defense of the client was weak at best. Court proceedings were scheduled by this firm and last minute notification given to the client. In order to speak with this firm after they were hired required multiple attempts to the point of having to show up and wait.
