Mr. Compton was easy to speak with, and spent as much time with me as I needed. He also returned my phone calls in a timely manner. The injury settlement I received was far more than I expected.
Having created a Living Trust, my real estate in Illinois needed to be titled into the trust. On August 20th 2009 I provided him with copies of the deeds that needed to be re-titled. Throughout September, October, November and early weeks of Dec., he put me off, and lied about the stage of process. Wanting to get this done, my frustration mounted and finally the 17th of Dec. the clerk of court in Kane County confirmed they had just come in for changes.
Jeff is a con artist. He filed a fake report with the court giving my Ex-wife custody of the children. When I proved him wrong he recanted. He is a horrible person.
Jeff is a substandard attorney. During my, case that I didn't hire him for. He has been extremely slow to react. He has provided me with the bare minimum service required. He does not return phone calls. He works with the opposing attorney to further his own agenda. I hired another attorney in my case and that attorney was indisposed for a period of time. I was appointed him in the interim. I would not recommend this attorney to represent me in any case. Please be advised.
This lawyer is a very low quality lawyer, who charges exorbitant fees and gets the court approval to do so after being appointed as the guardian ad litem to represent usually children or elderly. He pads the billings for everything when not necessary and has been a rip off for years like this. When we used him as the attorney for our child, he was prejudiced, overbilled for unneeded services, he would show up in court when not necessary, intimidated witnesses do not use this rip off.
