Stephen Berger has spent roughly half of his life in Atlanta, Georgia, and the other half in Los Angeles. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy at UCLA, and his Master of Fine Arts in Theater Film and Television, also at UCLA. He went on to have a successful career as a screenwriter in Los Angeles. But the entire time, he also had a burning desire to enter the field of law.
Once again living in Atlanta, where he grew up, Stephen attended law school at Georgia State University College of Law, where he was a member of the Charles Weltner Longstreet Inn of Court, and earned a CALI award for land use law. After that, he launched his second career as an attorney, admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2012, practicing civil litigation, family law, and personal injury for 12 years.
Stephen once again lives in California, where he devotes his time to Plaintiff’s personal injury law. He was admitted to the California Bar in 2025. He has a passion for representing the Davids of the world against Goliath insurance companies, practicing pre-litigation personal injury law. He especially enjoys interacting with clients, who learn very quickly that he’s on their side and will fight for them, no matter the odds.
Stephen lives in Mid-City Los Angeles with his wife and two dogs. He also has two grown children of the two-legged variety, who both now live in Atlanta.
