Hired Attorney Ashton Handley

I gave him $5000 for a retainer, he didn't show up for court and had to be postponed. He showed up at the next one late and didn't remember anything about the case. I gave him original documents for evidence was told copies would not be accepted. He stop answering or returning my phone calls never got my case on the docket. After flooding the firm with email and phone calls I was finally contacted via email by another member at the firm and was told there was no file for me.. no record of my case including all the original documents and no record of paying him $5000 retainer (cash). The case was time sensitive and by the time someone finally contacted me it was too late. Will never hire or recommend anyone in this form and espicially not me Ashton Handly.

Please beware of this man, he will ruin your life and be a no call no show to your court hearings, and trial dates… he lied to me and done the opposite.. it’s very sad when addiction turns your life south and you give up hope and faith and don’t care about your clients and hangs them up the creek without a paddle… please I said please I learned this first hamd

Anyone with access to the internet can post an anonymous review here - client, non-client, opposing counsel, opposing party - anyone who is unhappy. Someone without the courage to list their name is the epitome of unreliable. Consider the source.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
