Mr. Skipworth helped me with my case and kept me informed every step of the way. He was very kind and understanding and explained everything to me very clearly. I am very satisfied with the outcome of the case and I highly recommend Mr.Skipworth.
My experience with Robert A. Skipworth as opposing counsel in an HOA enforcement/foreclosure matter is extremely negative. In my opinion, his communication is unprofessional and evasive. Reasonable requests for clarification about his authority to act for the HOA are met with non‑responsive or dismissive replies, which raises serious concerns for me about whether he has proper authorization. There are also publicly available materials that reflect similar issues, including a formal disciplinary complaint filed with the New Mexico Office of Disciplinary Counsel and a recorded HOA meeting where board members question whether he was authorized to represent the association. In addition, publicly posted video footage on YouTube shows an instance where he was formally trespassed from a condominium property. While some online reviews are positive, many are vague and lack meaningful detail. Based on my experience, I do not recommend Robert Skipworth.
This lawyer doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing in a courtroom. Fired him after an hour and he charged me 10+ hours and didn’t return my retainer.
