Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, Jessica earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas at El Paso and became a Certified Public Accountant. She began her career at KPMG before attending St. Mary’s University School of Law, where she graduated in 2004. After nine years at a defense law firm, Jessica shifted her focus to plaintiff’s work, establishing her own practice in 2014 to champion the rights of employees and injury victims. In 2023, she partnered with Connie J. Flores to form Flores Mendez Law, expanding her ability to deliver exceptional legal services. Jessica is an active member of the legal community, serving on boards such as the El Paso Bar Foundation and the State Bar of Texas Women and the Law Section.
