Mr. Gomez Baca is a native El Pasoan graduating from Cathedral High School. In 2016, Mr. Gomez Baca graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Mr. Gomez Baca then pursued his legal studies at St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas, graduating Cum Laude in 2019. During his time in law school, Mr. Gomez Baca served as a staff writer for The Scholar, St. Mary’s law review focused on race and social justice.
Upon graduation, St. Mary’s School of Law awarded Mr. Gomez Baca the Pro Bono and Public Service Award recognizing Mr. Gomez Baca’s commitment to justice and outstanding pro bono service to the disadvantaged persons in the community. Mr. Gomez Baca continues this pro bono service by assisting Texas RioGrande Legal Aid in issues in the community.
Following his graduation from law school, Mr. Gomez Baca returned to El Paso, Texas, where he began his career representing insurance carriers and defending their insureds in motor vehicle cases and premises liability cases. Mr. Gomez Baca then joined the Lovett Law Firm in 2021. He uses the skills and knowledge he obtained in his prior experience to efficiently and aggressively advocate for his clients’ best interests.
Mr. Gomez Baca recognizes his clients face hardships due to being injured due to no fault of their own. This recognition is the driving force behind ensuring justice is served and seeking the maximum compensation for every one of his clients.
