Mr. Syrup and his office staff are exceptional. They have fought for me for over two years and continue to fight for my disability.
Knowledgeable, dependable, extremely helpful.
My attorney was Christopher D. Syrup, with the Kassin and Carrow law firm. My disability case was filed regarding Mental Health disability, NOT a physical disability case. The case was denied twice. My diagnoses are Bi-Polar, Major Depression Disorder, Anxiety, and Boarderline Personality Disorder. The vocational expert, medical expert, AND judge all acknowledged per my mental health files provided by my psychiatrist, psychologist/therapist, case worker, community center, etc., that I would miss 30% or more of work do to my mental health disability and diagnoses. The vocational expert testified that ANY employer would only allow up to 10% leniency in missed work days. Which that number is VERY generous. No employer is going to allow even 10% of missed work days. I'm not sure about every attorney at this law firm, but it is obvious Christopher D. Syrup is completely incompetent to represent a client with a mental health disability. I would not recommend this law firm.
I had Dawna Hale as my attorney and she refused to write a appeal letter along with she submitted paperwork wrong. I had absolutely no counseling from Her at all and i went into the court house and was completely blindsided. They were concerned about the last year of my working but it was filed as though I hadn't worked years before that. I just have a even bigger mess on my hands now. Ghee whiz! It's horrible
Years of waiting to get in front of a judge only to find out that incomplete information was submitted. Attorney Dawna refused to return any calls but would have unlicensed, unknowledgable secretaries return calls stating that everything was fine and that she was in regular contact with my work comp attorney, which was completely false. Once Dawna passed my case off to another associate just weeks before hearing, there was still no communication with me. I was screwed!
