Octavia L. Martinez is an experienced attorney holding a bachelor's degree from The University of Virginia and a law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. She launched her legal career in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2009, serving as a bailiff and law clerk for two Maricopa County Superior Court judges. She has substantial trial and litigation experience as a civil litigator and felony prosecutor. In 2015, Octavia L. Martinez made her way to Harlingen, Texas located in Rio Grande Valley, where she successfully passed the Texas Bar and continued her broad legal career. She has experience in medical malpractice, commercial trucking defense, employment law, criminal prosecution, criminal defense, defamation, family law, employment contract review and negotiations for medical providers (including but not limited to physicians, physician assistants, and licensed midwives), medical provider license defense (including but not limited to physicians and licensed midwives).
In 2018, Octavia L. Martinez paused her legal career to dedicate her time to raising and homeschooling her children and began ranching alongside her husband and children on their homestead farm, all of which she still continues to this day. In early 2024, she reactivated her Texas license to assist a client with an urgent and pressing legal matter which has led to the launch of her solo practice. She holds licenses in both Texas and Arizona and is admitted to practice in several notable courts, including the United States District Court for the Northern District of Arizona, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, the United States Court of Appeals for Fifth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. Her diverse and unique experiences provide her with a distinct viewpoint on both law and life.
