Edina divorce attorney Niecie M. Strand enjoys working individually with people going through life transitions. That’s what drew her to family law.
“While family law matters are stressful and difficult proceedings, it is important to understand that most change is that way,” Ms. Strand said. “Being able to help individuals navigate these changes and answer their questions is incredibly rewarding.”
Ms. Strand is extremely patient and able to stay calm through adversity. That comes in handy as family law matters are among the most difficult legal proceedings an individual can go through.
“I find it is helpful for my clients that I am able to stay calm when things get especially tough,” Ms. Strand said.
There are ups and downs with just about every divorce case. Despite all those twists and turns, Ms. Strand never loses sight of what she is fighting for.

Professional Experience
Prior to joining Cordell & Cordell, Ms. Strand worked in a general practice firm as a paralegal and attorney. Her primary areas of practice included family law, estate planning, and probate. She also worked as a GAL.
